I don't think think there is any part of the electorate clamoring for him, or even someone like him. And, he has the personality of a wet napkin. Of course, next year, just not having a 'R' next to your name may be enough.

He had the ability to appeal to enough Republicans, even if for reasons I don't like. Dunlap doesn't have that. He has part of the political class behind him, but no real constituency.
