No one deserves to wind up homeless due to bad circumstance. Thanks to Trump and his actions though, thanks to the actions he allowed to happen under him, that is a very real possibility for anyone like myself. Anyone who has had a run of bad luck.

Churches that offer this kind of assistance will only help families with children, who are about to be evicted.
On top of everything else affected by Trump's and Musks' actions, rent assistance is part of that. And it shouldn't matter if a family is a single adult, two, two and children.

They could not help. The reason? Rent assistance is federally funded. That federal funding is frozen.

No one depending on me. I also live in the Ozarks, so one of the first places that I should have available for help with rent in a situation like mine, is Ozarks Community Action Corporation (OACAC).

I lost my job in February. I have been trying to find work that I know I can do, and stick with since then, with less than favorable results. I don't have a car or license. I don't have the professional opinion to support disability. I am a man living on his own, with no children.

We all know when Trump let Musk take a chainsaw to our government- to use his own tasteless comparison- a lot of funding, for a lot of things ended up frozen.

Very rarely have I wished any kind of harm on another person. Right now, I'm thinking Luigi and Musk should have a run-in, because it would accomplish more than Democrats are.
