@eddiemuller.bsky.social I recently watched an interview with Robert Ryan’s son, and either he or the interviewer asked why Odds Against Tomorrow (1959) isn’t considered the last noir, instead of Touch of Evil (1958)? I’ve wondered that myself. Any idea why that is? ty.

The right wing propaganda machine will be the downfall of the US. People live in an alternate reality where facts don't matter. Where Trump has the height and weight of a prime NFL player, Kirk was a saint and Jan 6th was "just a tour". How do we come back from this as a society? I don't see a way.

It's worth noting that the Groyper "movement" is extremely popular among college-age white males—and that many Groypers got radicalized by Nick Fuentes and his ideas after high school. Robinson being a now-radicalized Groyper is perfectly consistent with him having different views 6 to 10 years ago.
