Maybe something relating to co-optation? Developmental co-optation would maybe make sense here but that I guess is a neologism. Also evolutionary co-optation fits if the novel functions do appwar at the same time in evolution.

I mostly consider her a warning on what happens when people think they will not get concequences for their behaviour when in power. Combined with living 19 years in Nakkila, it has made me automatically suspicious with religions associated with public services.

But the problem is that being very good in popularising and attention-grabbing, Dickie and his opinions have practically become the main thing when majority of people (in several generations) think about atheism.

Mä nyt voin suoraan sanoa, että tekoäly ei vieläkään tee suurinta osaa mun hommista sillä nopeudella kuin mitä niiden tuottaman diibadaaban tarkastus ei veisi.

I have been of the opinion that Dickie Dawks is overhyped for a decade or so. Major achievements are popularising genecentric thinking (that takes ages to root out from biology undergrads) and making cringe secular conservatism the major impression people have on rational materialism.

Opening of those jars with conical lid was one thing (that included xylene and breaking jars with wrench after the lid proved unmovable) but the worst part was to reseal them as in order to make beeswax stick, all of the silicone needed to be scraped. Luckily got some undergrads to help in that.

My horror experience was going through the UH biology students' wet sample collection (including the largest tuatara in Finland) after I got tired that proximity of their closet smelled of formalin and liquid had lowered too much. Some stable genius had used aquarium silicone to seal them.

Then you do have IKI for at least Finnish users. You can join for a lifetime payment of 40e or smth to have a permanent mail/www-forwarding service.

However, no presentation software there yet. EU/EFTA countries should ibvest on developing an alternative to these and user-friendly open source layout program (and no, I do not consider InkScape user-friendly enough).

At least the paid version of Proton drive has documents and sheets provided on the cloud. No zotero plugin for the docs however. Additionally they have some teams-like thing in beta-testing.

Our older boar still does the popcorning headshakes but not the jumps. At least when we put fences in our living room and spread coriander/salad heaps and let the guinea pigs search for them.

Ja tähän nyt vaan menee aikaa joka käytetään siihen tutkintoon ja rahaa jolla sen puitteet taataan.

Tai sitten se että musta on hyvä että porukka tekee virheitä ja oppii niistä hallitussa ympäristössä kuin että ne heitetää syvää päähä ja toivotaa parasta. Koski sitten uravalintaa tai vaikka ihan koulutusta tohtoriksi tai miksi vaa.

Muutenkin koko koulutuksen visiointia määrittää että juosten kusten tulee parasta jälkeä. Tuottavintahan ois antaa aikaa valita alansa ja mahdollisuus vaihtaa sitä ko se on halvempaa kuin kilometritehdas.

Aiemmin sentään sai päätöksen lykätä 19-vuotiaaksi mutta lukiouudistuksen jälkeen näin ei ole.
Muutenkin koko koulutuksen visiointia määrittää että juosten kusten tulee parasta jälkeä. Tuottavintahan ois antaa aikaa valita alansa ja mahdollisuus vaihtaa sitä ko se on halvempaa kuin kilometritehdas.

Mutta jos puhutaan ihmisten koulutuksen arvostuksesta niin musta tuntuu, että ennemminkin muut eivät koulutukselle anna arvoa, kun on muka väärä ala tai ei ole mitään hyötyä. Myöskin semmonen ajatus että joku 15-kesäinen ois joku ennustaja alan kannattavuuden suhteen on sekä kohtuuton että mahdoton.

En ainakaan äänestäisi heitä pääministeri- tai valtionvarainministeripuolueiksiniin kuin viime vaaleissa porukka päätti tehdä.

Jäätelönsyöntiaikaan tulee paljon hukkumakuolemia. Ehkä jäätelökielto vähentäisi vaaroja.
Niiden Nobelien taustalla on usein isommalla rahalla tehty tutkimusinfra ja yleisestikin hyvin resursoitu tutkimusyhteisö. Eivätkä nekään ole ainoita tekijöitä taustalla.
