I wish. Basically companies don't survive if they're not constantly making money so there's no incentive to build robustly. If things are robust, they make no money on repairs or new purchases. They daren't moderate themselves because of ruthless competitors, even if they wanted to.

Thank you for the incredible depiction of how "help" is often forced on disabled people! It takes much work to get over the hangups caused by things like the prosthetic arm, and it's amazing to see this handled sensitively. Reminds me of some of my reactions to visual impairment "aids" as a kid.

Try having an identical name save for last two letters of surname as a colleague. Add to that, people tend to write to colleague on operational matters for a system, and me on tech matters. I get to learn a lot about middle office work!
