Pseudo-penis who?? Elongated clitorises are out (sorry spider monkeys), male genitalia resembling vaginas are in! Yet another reason why colobus are the coolest primates.

Ah yes! I saw that a lot. Very odd. I always thought the infants were going to get injured too!! They were grimacing and squealing most of the time and seemed scared. Perhaps this acted as an appeasement gesture..? 🤷‍♀️

It's not just budgets but research, institutions, expertise, and training the next generation.
