Yet a few weeks ago O’Brien was lauding Starmer’s statement on Trump’s derision of UK troops cos the ‘only way to deal with Trump is through strength & straight talking’ - so the goalposts always move when he needs to defend Starmer. It’s a real problem for him.

There’s no difference between this level of misinformation and the Tory press he, rightly, critiques.

Specifically, in 2017, Shakespearean actress Leonie Mellinger was hired by his office as a speech coach to teach him how to deliver speeches - a supposed hotshot barrister of 20+ years. It's beyond parody....

For me, a major tell was Republican politicians wearing masks branded with 'silenced' in bold letters, whilst delivering speeches claiming they weren't allowed to deliver speeches, on the house floor of arguably the most powerful country in the world.

Spot on, but its precisely that line the media will not connect or point out, because they would then have to confront their obsessive platforming of such a character.

Also allows his 'fans' to frame it as schoolboy jinx being dug up, rather than the connection to his whole agenda.

But the point that should be made is the pattern of his behaviour.

It won't be tho - the people who are supposed to ask him or make this point have been platforming him knowing full well his racism in youth and in adulthood.

Getting a brown woman to head up racism is exactly what the Tories did.
