Six: my favourite artwork (doesn't have to be a panel or a page). I'll keep it Omekade related, which means that will be the cover for the second volume. I painted it with Kuretake Gansai Tambi paints and I absolutely love it. In general, I'm really happy with both of the covers I've made so far.

They are glaring upwards, arms tied back in a tangle of tentacle-like shapes, which are also sprouting from non-bloody gashes in their chest and neck, as well as from their nose and one eye. A bunch of them also form a sort of crooked halo behind Akira's head. Blueish glow is spreading from behind their head in a vaguely cross formation, as well as from the holes in their neck. Under their skin, the gashes are filled with more of the tentacles instead of flesh. The background is a cloudly purple. Dark purple stylised font says "Omekade" at the top of the cover page, under it there's a number 2 of the volume, and author's name Telari is in the bottom left corner.

Five: my favourite panel so far. Hard to pick, since I like plenty for different reasons. I think so far, chapter 9 has the most that I really love. But here goes? A little cheating since it's a page and not a single panel.

It's an aerial view landscape of grassy hills going down to a sea in the distance. It's very windy, there are 3-winged windmills spread on the hills, and there's a town visible in the far distance. Stratified white clouds are on the sky horizon. Text in a speech bubble with no direction says "Yeah, all that wind is good for. Omi likes it though, she's loved flying kites since she was a kid." The second panel shows a sitting character from waist up, from the back, long black hair moving in the wind. The background is blurry, filled with dotted light effects. A speech bubble directed from the character says "Lan's my little brother, and Omi and Kaia are our cousins." The third panel shows an airborne, vaguely triangle-shaped kite with lots of ribbons in the foreground. In the background, four children are seen on a grassy hill. One of them is standing and controlling the kite, to their right a second one is sitting on the ground, reading a book, and two more are approaching them uphill, holding hands and waving in greeting. Speech bubble says "Well, were..."

Four! The antagonists. It's a bit of a tricky one, since while there are enemies to the main protagonists, the plot doesn't revolve around their conflict. And the only other one that could be vaguely put in that place, I would say is more of a deuteragonist. But if we're talking awful, here's Joyce.

Three! The main characters in OMEKADE are: Akira, a 20 year old with a puzzling background, Akari, a 72 year old with a cat, and Tomoko, Akari's mother, a 95 year old who does not like uncomfortable questions.

Two Grandmas hire a young, reluctant aid to their business, and find themselves on the way to discovering the mystery behind the fall of the grandest industrial centre of the era.

One! My comic is titled OMEKADE and it's a play on the Japanese word for a centipede, (o)mukade, and "mecha", or as it is written in katakana literally "meka", so it sort of turns into a mechanical centipede. It's sci-fi with a splatter of horror.
