I do understand this sentiment, because these things can happen, especially with a game that took this long to release. But I don't like how it's such an easy "gotcha" to deflect all criticism.

People have legitimate issues with Prime 4. Can we not accept that?

I gave it a 3/5 on Backloggd which felt just a little bit generous, because I don't hate the game, but I absolutely cannot understand how some people gave this 8/10 and higher. It's so boring

Yeah, that's unfortunate. Although the section about Prime 4 in my DOOM video now holds up very well. If anything I should have been harder on the game, but we didn't know as much at that point.

Dude, these boss fights...they are so bad. Nothing new for the Prime games though.

I've been thinking about this while playing. It's like the most polished, well-produced execution of really bland, boring ideas. Tons of money sunk into a game that doesn't have any unique positives.

I think a game with Bayonetta hunched over that tiny scooter would sell ten million copies in a day, but SEGA are cowards.

Probably the first one, but Prime 2 is pretty good as well.
