I mean I guess it's nice to know this is just gonna be a problem no matter how good / successful you are as an artist so ignoring that potential negative audience is a good thing.

But still like, people really do not empathize with creative process sometimes it feels

Obviously a part of it I think is people aren't used to seeing how artists do studies or understand the process of working for another entity, but same time its just rude to attack a work / artist on something like that.

The fact that like my fight or flight response already kicked in at the cutesy presentation + "I noticed you are a trans woman on the internet :3" on this one jesus christ

(basically just doing some practice of making basic 3d props / models to get in the mindset of making those if i need reference for something complicated w/ either plasticine or blender.)

That said, I also do really love Beta / stuff like Better Than Adventure in its own way for essentially trimming the fat and saying "you don't need to be overwhelmed with all of this just go build" and I do not think I would have appreciate modern without that foundation.

I think it mostly comes down to the fact most people play the game like you only have one path to play the game (oh i need my full enchant diamond netherite armor)

I actually had to discover this recently myself. I decided on a whim to play Bedrock to see what its like and actually really enjoyed how I could treat the game like "old-school mc" but if I wanted a break I could do some of the newer stuff in between.
