Social security, esp the SCP, is supporting families. There is no running away from the fact this essential public service is needed & should go further. It’s the backbone to a comprehensive plan to end child poverty (3/4)

It is welcome to see child poverty reducing for the first time in years, especially in the face of rising poverty across the UK. Things have turned in the right direction. It gives us hope that policy & political choices in Scotland are working (2/4)
