Unfortunately in the US this approach is too “woke”, too “soft on crime.” And it doesn’t line the pockets of the prison industry, which is big big bucks.

Trump is such a fuck-weasel. He’ll say anything to deflect any kind of illegality or wrongdoing onto someone else. Always.

But instead of working hard to fight poverty, which is the ultimate, underlying root of crime; instead of providing better schools, apprenticeships and general pathways to betterment, America loves to build more prisons. It loves to militarize its Police forces. WTF?
