Came here to say this 😆

These comments are insane. This is exactly what we need in order to build a coalition of economic populism to drive real change. But y’all would rather cling to your purity tests to feel morally superior while you watch everything burn down around you. Shame on you. Check your privilege.

The questions we should be asking: Do you think the rich should keep getting richer and the poor poorer? Is it better to let people get sick and die than give them health care? Do you think concentration camps are fine? No? Ok, you’re in our coalition.

I’m so sick of this argument y’all. The real conflicts in this country are the 99% v. the 1% and, more recently, fascist v. not fascist. Wake up.

While I obviously think it’s bad to give affluent students even more of a leg up—I can’t seem to reconcile reports of super low admissions rates with the data that colleges are desperate for enrollment. Which is true??

Lol…I just read about an auto strike in the 30s where the workers locked down the factory and fashioned weapons out of car parts to fight off the National Guard from the roof. But I guess socialism is for betas 🤷

Wow…the comments are so disconcerting. So ready to GLAZE establishment democrats and trash BERNIE because he talked to some people you don’t like? This is not revolutionary energy. That man has been a class warrior for 40 years—and y’all just blowing in the wind.

Is that a condom on her newspaper?! Get it Nance!
May 9, 2025 at 2:49 AM
Ummm…pretty sure he was referring to race ‘science’—AKA, eugenics 😑
May 2, 2025 at 6:09 PM
Can’t wait to hear how they spin this one. Mental health=DEI? Kids that go to therapy are weak betas? I hate it here….
May 2, 2025 at 1:45 AM
Real talk…Can these psychos stop trying to destroy humanity for like 5 seconds?!? Go live on your weird floating mansion in the ocean and leave us in peace!!
May 2, 2025 at 1:40 AM
I grew up in a small town in a rural area, so this description sounds familiar…yet it doesn’t explain why the EXTREMELY wealthy (and predominantly college-educated) FL beach community where I live now voted 70% for Trump in 2024 🤔

Thank you. We need a lot more folks being proactive like this, or we’re screwed
April 16, 2025 at 12:27 PM
Facism is historically a “youthful” movement 🤢
April 16, 2025 at 2:37 AM
Please follow through on this…we are willing to get out into the streets but we need you guys to make it mean something. Protests alone are not enough.
April 15, 2025 at 1:21 AM
I think it’s largely symbolic at this point. Those folks didn’t imagine that their kids choices would be: leave the community to attend college at $50-80k/year to hopefully land an office job in a city they’ve never been to—or work low-wage service/gig with no benefits (neither with job security)
April 7, 2025 at 1:14 AM
There were a ton in FL—I was at one!
April 6, 2025 at 3:20 AM
I was there!! Great turnout ✊🏼
April 5, 2025 at 4:27 PM
Typically a Lovett stan—but I think deriding the April 5th stuff (800 planned nationwide rn) is a weird take that belies the same cynicism he’s critiquing. People willing to protest at ALL is laudable, considering the profound apathy we’re seeing in most of our leaders.

Ugh, same…

I live in Florida, which is gerrymandered within an inch of its life. As a result, we have a Rep gov and supermajorities in house and senate. The structural issues enabling minoritarian rule are a severe impediment to democracy.
March 14, 2025 at 10:06 PM
Just had this conversation in the group chat. We can only trust Bernie and AOC and others who are not afraid to do what’s right and be leaders. The rest of them are basically Vichy France at this point.
March 14, 2025 at 1:03 AM
Neither panelist acknowledged the crowds Bernie Sanders has been drawing. 9,000 people just showed up outside Detroit to see a man who isn’t running for office and has been systematically marginalized by the Dem establishment despite his enduring, widespread popularity. Am I missing something?
