You can also have a rather strong quad or point light that does not cast shadow, to simulate the "brightness" you want, and use a single other light for the shadows as well. But yeah as you said, it feels "wrong" but if only using one it isn't that much of an issue to obtain the desired result

Have you tried setting a post process volume for the inside/interior? they might help a bit for light settings, as you have some control on light exposure and other settings

Maybe add like "New Entry" notification? Always nice to know which are the new ones added =D
Otherwise i think it is looking pretty good as is already!
