To go with some of the favorite promo posters I picked up while managing a comic store.

Since she went into the hospital a few days after that Christmas (and passed away 4 weeks later), I never did put together that puzzle she gave me. Guess I have 2 to put together and frame now.

I think this must have been something my late wife bought and hid intending to give it to me as a present, maybe something she forgot about that last Christmas we were together. I did receive another superhero puzzle that year from her with the thought of framing it and hanging it in my Comics cave

Tonight, I was curious what was in a storage cabinet in the bottom of a bookcase. I found some jar candles of various scents, as well as 2 books that belonged on the shelves above the cabinet standing up with the front covers facing out. Those books were hiding a sealed superhero jigsaw puzzle.

I went to my 35 year reunion in July. I moved to my hometown 3 years ago, and I was hoping to reconnect with some people who are still local. Unfortunately, that didn't happen, although I did have a good time at the reunion itself.

I tip well in general because I had too many friends back in the day who lived off of tips, but yeah, I doubled what my usual tip would have been.

I went out to dinner tonight and got a waitress who has been working at that restaurant for several years, although I had not seen her in a while. She asked if I was eating alone or if my wife would be joining me. (My wife died over 2 and a half years ago.)
