*OPMs for optically-pumped magnetometers, the sensors
**OPM-MEG for the device itself

During grad school, I remember reading a paper from Princeton about laser-pumped magnetometers and it's so exciting to see that research come to life.

I remember going to a workshop ten years ago in Sweden at NatMEG about high temperature SQUIDs. These sensors could be cooled using liquid nitrogen vs helium.

A notable pursuit but I think these sensors were leapfrogged by optically-pumped MEG.

Thanks!

If you're ever in town over the weekend and want a biscuit, I can whip one up for you!

I saw that and was shocked. technically it is correct that more than 1 in 10 are vaccinated, this headline is terribly written.

The article says 91% of K-5 students are vaccinated.

I think this post went out too quickly. in your article, you write:

However, Mecklenburg County falls just short of that figure, with 91% of children in grades K-5 up-to-date on the measles, mumps and rubella (MMR) vaccine, according to Washington.

Hot take:

I think @mozilla.org and @anacondainc.bsky.social should form a strategic alliance and/or merge.

Both are respected companies in open-source, have fantastic tech expertise, value-aligned, and both are vying to build the open-source AI platform beloved by developers and used in market.

@beaconbits.app, any way to get added to your beta tester list?
also, would love to know if you have any plans to have an Foursquare Swarm import. Still a user there since 2010 😎
