Today is #PurpleDay, Bluesky!
This is an awareness day for epilepsy, which is a condition my boy Groot was diagnosed with at about 4.5 years old. He is now going on 11! Glad for us his epilepsy has been managed well with medication and herbal supplements.

Groot is all ready for his upcoming corgi Valentine's Day Party. Last weekend's project was building his mailbox, inspired by the Welsh Dragon. This week's project was getting him cleaned up and taking a photo to remember some goodness.

Having learned of the Minecraft crafting table LEGO set on The Spawn Chunks, I had to order one. At the time, they were running a promo for a free gift fireworks set - which seemed like the perfect chance to have an homage to one of my favorite hermits, @thatcubfan135.bsky.social !

We had a little snow. My own personal demons in combination with the wind kept us from getting out to really enjoy it, but I did get one photo of my bestest bud in his yard.

After seeing a post from a friend about taking a day to explore and remind oneself what life is really about, we went back to a favorite local haunt.
The beavers had been busy and flooded part of the trail, but we forged ahead and we're rewarded with some tranquil ponds and great views.

A few weeks ago, we went on a walk to peep the last of the autumn color at one of our favorite local bogs.

This is Groot. He's my bestest bud. He's a 10 year old Cardigan Welsh Corgi.
