I think that ship has sailed.

He has to go; he's part of the problem.

Russians and other more competent disruptors will be rigging the election, not Noem and Trump.
January 25, 2026 at 4:00 PM
Astonishingly, GElliott Morris' polling today says that 56% disapprove of Trump. Why do, presumably, 44% not disapprove? That's an insurmountable problem for the country. It's almost a statistical tie.

Not being so sentimental, I sometimes can weep for how we have failed to create a better world. That we have handed control over to the least worthy human beings I have heard of - I've never encountered in real life such cretins - is a cause of great sadness to me.
January 23, 2026 at 6:51 PM
We aren't.
January 23, 2026 at 6:26 PM
I think Americans are inured to this, but Canadians aren't. What these people say is shocking, and terrifying. There is no way that the world system can sustain three more years of this; that it has sustained a year so far is a miracle, but it will all come crashing down. It's not supportable.
January 23, 2026 at 6:25 PM
With the world coming to an end, I can't believe this is what
anyone is focusing on, except those who are immediately affected. Is it distractive?

Hold my beer! Doesn't seem Starmer is quite finished yet.
January 19, 2026 at 11:23 AM
You ARE that kind of nation.
January 19, 2026 at 11:21 AM
Because THEY are what they have always been and will be.
January 18, 2026 at 12:45 PM
Of course it is absurd. Like me winning a Nobel Prize for Literature and giving it to my neighbour, who will then think he's written books!
January 16, 2026 at 1:41 PM
WPo readers are blasting Bezos .... both of them!
January 14, 2026 at 6:39 PM
Do we need any more signs? Haven't there been enough?
January 13, 2026 at 1:30 PM
Just imagine only a +7 gap. Considering the government, it should be 77. With gerrymandering, this is a Republican landslide.
January 13, 2026 at 1:19 PM
You probably won't survive Trump; but if you did, by some miracle, I will be very surprised to see ONE indictment on this administration by the Democrats. The Republicans are so sure of this that they proceed without caution.
January 12, 2026 at 1:15 AM
I doubt that very much. Americans haven't drawn the line in the sand so far; Greenland won't be the final straw.
January 11, 2026 at 12:14 PM
Part of the problem, not of the solution.
January 10, 2026 at 10:09 PM
Yes, bungling and incompetent, but they managed to take over the US. Makes you wonder how bad the citizenry is, who allowed them to take over.
January 10, 2026 at 9:58 PM
Who ever thought that the US was the greatet democracy on the planet, except for Americans and their bloody exceptionaism?
January 10, 2026 at 9:56 PM
OMG. You f'in people!
January 7, 2026 at 1:19 PM
I think we have to redefine what is 'un-American'. And ban the phrase 'This is not who we are'.
January 6, 2026 at 11:47 AM
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
January 3, 2026 at 9:46 PM
I just don't get it. How many of these people have even met a transgendered person? It's not like they're taking all the jobs, filling up all the schools, taking all one's potential mates. What prompts a person to make something so relatively rare a focus of their ire? It's none of your business.
January 2, 2026 at 6:04 PM
The US is itself a failing society.
