I had wages stolen from me back in the 90s while working in a restaurant. It was a normal practice for the GM to shave hours off employee time cards to make the labor costs look better. I've heard of worse abuses since then. This isn't even considered a crime.

I have a friend who lived in their van for a while and were reported on all the time for sleeping in it. Didn't matter what time of day, they had the cops run them off all the time.
