Removing all of a rapist's genitals dehumanizes him and makes him impotent in more ways than one. Yeah, there'll be a few Jame Gumbs out there, but I think it would make a better deterrent than the death penalty, especially where the rich and powerful perverts are concerned.

The death penalty has never discouraged dangerous criminals, much less the 1%ers. The US stats prove it; it's why every other advanced nation abolished it decades ago.
I am in favour, though, of castrating and bobitting the MFs. A fate worse than death for rapists and paedos.

Before Step 1, there needs to be hundreds of daily protests and huge No Kings weekends across the country every week. Look at how People Power has effected authoritarian regime change just in the last 35 years -- the Eastern Bloc countries, ex-Yugoslavia, Ukraine, Nepal, South Korea, Brazil...

I'm a Gen X Canadian, and I've never ever met anyone who's declared medical bankruptcy. This could only happen if a Canadian citizen wanted expensive, experimental and nationally unapproved medical treatment (most likely from the States). A very rare occurrence that usually makes national news.
