Fur farms, whether you agree with them or not, are run by people who know how to care for these animals and spend their lives and careers doing just that.

a random person who bought a sable because they felt bad for it does not have that multigenerational expertise.

If people want minks and sables to not be killed (read: humanely euthanized) on fur farms, they should leave that operation to reputable animal rescues and not random pet owners that will give them worse care than a fur farm ever would
