It's still funny to me how Arc Raider's big gimmick was "this is an extraction shooter that's actually fun and can be played by normal people" and everyone hopped on instantly.

I have had 2 people confidently describe it as two completely different games. I genuinely dont think anyone knows wtf it is.

This is the default state of being for 40k fans.

Yes and he basically exists to be the gay lolcow of the maga-sphere they all like to spit on

Titanfall 2 and Prey eating shit feels like humanity rejecting Christ and God leaving them to damnation.

Ben Shapiro bluntly saying he would never attend Dave Rubin's wedding or celebrate it in any capacity to Dave'a face is an all-timer.

Nothing like enjoying the forsaken genre of immersive sims to make you feel like an Ubermensch among a flock of sheep.

I would be so pissed if he dissipated into a cloud of butterflies fluttering into a gentle breeze.

That would make me so mad.

It's not stupid if your intent is ultimately to keep a book of on-paper assets to sell some some Saudi schmuck.

There's 2 types of Oni girls: big and strong-fat or small and freakishly slim. Any deviation from this is an attack against the concept.

League is still a thing, CS is still a thing, Overwatch is still a thing in spite of itself, Fortnight consumes all... and now Deadlock, Valorant, and Rivals have come in to lap up the last droplets of juice.

Working on Highguard after the Concord flopout must have illicited the same emotion only otherwise felt by guys running a treadmills with stage 4 cancer.

It sucks that Adams died he was the only notable MAGA figure that was both fairly harmless and had more going on than empty grifting. Adams was always a contemptable crank, but he was a genuine character and had that true spark of eccentric whimsy rich people stopped having in the 90s.

My uncle used to manage a private drydock and got to meet all sorts of hyper wealthy weirdos with giant boats and they only ever wanted to know who had the biggest yacht in the yard at any given moment and by how much. There really isn't anything meaningful going on with these people.

The author has his third eye open to the fact that everyone is who they were at 19 years old... just with more baggage and knee problems and that's why he's so consistantly good at writing full casts in everything.

It's shocking how closely his opinions and beliefs align with Woodrow Wilson, oddly enough.

He DID have a lot of great insights into corporate dysfunction and how the private sector is prone to the exact kind of issues the public sector is. The only issue is that he's a misanthrope who blames disfunction on the average worker/middle manager and thinks we need a system of corpo god kings
January 5, 2026 at 9:29 PM
It's worse than that. JD was practically groomed into politics and hand-picked by Peter Thiel and the Project 2025 people to be VP so the "billionaires as god-kings" contingent had a compliant part of the admin who would insulate thrm from Trump's mood swings.
