My current streak is 22 so whatever the puzzle was 23 days ago I felt that same WTF.

I was also hooked on his writing .. so I was excited when Son of the Circus came out. To this day still the only book I’ve given up on. Haven’t been back to him since but your post is a reminder to check out some of his others.

Safe European Home

I took Moby Dick in high school and loved it. Unfortunately, I no longer have the book: we had an open-book final exam on it and I had a bad cold — after running out of tissues I resorted to tearing out pages I no longer needed to blow my nose.

So true. My wife and I are Canadians who did a Collette’s Tour of several western US National Parks this past October. We were enthused about returning this summer to visit a few again and to check out a couple we missed. Beautiful jewels. But we won’t return under this administration.

Saw it November 18 - loved it so much.
