“Vast majority“ is doing a lot of heavy lifting. About a third are temporarily homeless with plans to get housed with support or a job. Libraries help them often. But yeah let’s defund libraries.

Yep. It was deprivation of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. That is why they live on the streets. Because they are allowed to, just like they can live in a house or we can live wherever. They take up far less space individually than do a house, garage, boat, RV, etc.

He should have clarified. It's not a careful sentence from a former POTUS. WHY don't we want to navigate it? Living with people is inconvenient, whether they're lying on the street or driving too slowly or taking too long to serve you dinner. "Reasonable" people don't equate these situations.

Tent cities don’t scare me as much as the current government situation does. I was on a federal grand jury and in no case out of 200+ did we have a person experiencing homelessness being investigates. And this was during Grumpy 1.0

what I hear him saying is we shouldn’t have ppl on the streets but doing anything beyond tearing down their tents and removing them from the streets doesn't win elections. So just more of the same establishment garbage. I’m sorry but Obama coming back on the scene is not a good sign, imo
