Frankly I'm surprised more people aren't pissed the show runners basically used most of Season 2 to back peddle on Lucifer being the proverbial Goku of the show after that narrative shit show of a final battle in Season 1.

On top of that she was so useless as a demon she is pretty much Gohan during the Buu Saga in that stupid season one fight, even needing to be bailed out by "Goku".
Christ being a Charlie stan I felt especially cucked by that stupid fight.

Well the textbook definition of protagonist and antagonist make no mention of good or evil. Protag is just the main character the story is focused on, Antag is the character(s) that directly oppose the protag.
For example, Death Note. Light Yagami is the protag, it's his story.
