A little brotherly grooming after napping separately. They are no worse for their vet experience. I am so happy we have a vet that comes to the house. It is much less stressful for them to be in their own space while getting poked and prodded.

I called water and sewer to find out how we're supposed to submit the estimates for the work we need done (because they don't have that info anywhere on line or in the whole section on this reimbursement program) and the answer was "bring them in." Like physically walk in with paper.

@radiofreetom.bsky.social until you can't. Why do you want to wait until then to call it out? Does every instance of fascism have to exactly mirror one from the past for it to be "real fascism"? And must it get to extremes? Can it not be called out in the early stages?

One of the best things about working from home is my "room noise" is mainly birds and insects I hear out the window, as opposed to HVAC hum in the office. I never realize how much that bothers me until it's gone and I relax tension I didn't know I had.

Three #vaccines today and I am starting to feel it. I still need to get the flu one as they didn't have any yet. But there's going to be a week long vaccination drop in on campus at the end of the month so I'll just get it then

I went to the estate sale at my friend's house today. It was really weird to walk through and see all of their stuff out, being looked over by so many people. Including me. I cried a lot. But also bought things that will always make me think of both Mary-Jo and Ken, who predeceased her.
