The port of Sasebo is known as a base for the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force. But yesterday, a decorated car exhibition was held in front of a warship. I found the contrast quite interesting!

I’m preparing to guide a Jigoku (Hell) Tour in Beppu. Hell Tour? Don’t worry! It’s a fascinating place where you can enjoy various unique hot springs. It attracts many first-time visitors as one of Japan’s top tourist spots. I’m excited to welcome foreign tourists and share this amazing experience!

March 11, fourteen years ago, was a warm spring day. In Northern Kyushu, far from disaster-stricken Tohoku, the sky was beautifully blue, and people looked forward to the blooming flowers. But at 2:46 pm, all those colors seemed to vanish. I still remember that moment vividly.

It’s hot today, and it feels like spring has arrived. So, I rode my bike to the library for the first time in six months. During the winter, I usually walk because I don’t like the cold winter wind, but starting today, I can save time thanks to my bike. I’m grateful that spring is finally here!

Last week I had a little bit long journey to Iwate where I went to Iwaizumi town by bus, taking 2 hours over the snowy mountain but I surprised that every cars run fast although the roads were covered with heavy snow. Incredible! I found the drivers in snow country have a great skill of driving!

Today’s high was 25°C—a warm summer-like day, even at the end of October. The cosmos flowers along the riverside were in full bloom, though a bit sparse. #cosmos #autumn #flowers

I’ve never read such an interesting article! This report, written by The Japan Times’ staff writer, is the most detailed and clearest on our city’s major issue. No Japanese paper has ever covered it like this.

The number of people from X world joining Bluesky has been increasing recently due to the opening of borders. Among them are writers whom I hesitated to follow on X because they only post for X. Now, staying in X world seems less meaningful to me. The time for me to leave X is approaching!
