Teslemetry finally supports the remote boombox command on vehicles that require command signing.

A recent breakthrough will enable a range of brand new commands, previously not available to third parties.

Tesla has made it clear that polling for vehicle data is not the path forward. As a low cost offering, Teslemetry is going to have to fully embrace this. Come July 1 the vehicle_data endpoint will be no longer included in subscriptions, and move to pay-per-use.

The two blue data streams represent the bidirectional flow of information Teslemetry provides, and the negative space forms a lightning bolt representing the Tesla products we integrate with.

The @home-assistant.io Tesla Fleet integration's built in application credential was removed in 2025.1, and has now has been disabled by Tesla.

Tesla Fleet API billing starts in 26 hours from now, and so does Teslemetry Command Credits. This way users can pay for only the commands they need, and future improvements like local bluetooth control can save users even more.

Tesla Fleet API in the EU has been having major issues for the last hour, with many 503 responses and response times averaging 5 seconds.

Users in the EU should expect the API to be unreliable, and new users may not be able to access the Teslemetry console.

Tesla retroactively changed their announcement about the new vehicle_location scope, originally stating no action would be required for existing users. That's no longer going to be the case. teslemetry.com/blog/vehicle...

Tesla will start charging third party developers per use of the Fleet API on January 1st 2025. This has huge implications for Teslemetry as we handle 1,500,000 vehicle data requests per day.
