It’s a much more pervasive issue than just that, unfortunately. There are far too many kids-primarily boys-taught that they are entitled to whatever they want because the moment they get upset, mommy steps in to attack whoever made them cry. This then can turn into a manipulation tactic.

If it’s a modern laptop it’s probably an SSD afaik. It’s relevant because SSD performance suffers when you fill it up like that.
