There might be a way to run it through your own server, I haven't looked into it though

Look into running it through your own server, it might be possible

I heard recently it might be possible to run Ring cameras through your own servers. People who have ring cameras should look into this

I heard recently it's possible to run Ring cameras through your own servers. If this is the case, more people should be looking into this if they feel the need to have these cameras at all.

The Bad Bunny halftime show was the All American halftime show. Any American who forsakes their siblings up north or down south is not "All American" to me.

I found a digital copy of the game on Steam! It appears to be pretty much an exact replica of the original, minus the tiny numbers ordering the cards: steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/...

slightly off topic, but do you have any idea where to get a copy of the game? i've been scouring the internet for days trying to find a copy of the 1906 version, but no one has published the cards. haven't looked into the 1924 or 1932 versions since they look significantly different from monopoly

Why is, like, the first sound of each letter cut off in their version? They can't even get their audio right

Why is this not being investigated by attorneys general everywhere right now?

I have a family member who believes democrats never win elections fairly. This type of rhetoric has pretty much only come from MAGA type folks and I agree we need to start calling foul play more loudly.

Open source election verification software is interesting!

Can anyone be a poll worker? Maybe a lot of us will need to volunteer to keep watch outside

Every election venue needs to be thoroughly checked for any traces of bombs and then locked down in the days leading up to the election. We cannot allow bomb threats to suppress the voice of the people.

Hmm, looks like they are based in Australia and hosting on servers in the EU (Ireland) for now which is interesting. Doesn't look like they allow users to host data on personal servers though which is one of the main steps we need to be taking towards people-powered data sovereignty.

We should probably assume they’re monitoring Bluesky as well, although I don’t know how much information is visible to them, unlike with Meta and TikTok

Every voting machine should be audited independently before elections, and none of them should ever be connected to the internet. Tabulation should happen by both hand and machine, with any serious discrepancies inviting transparent review.

We need to be able to trust our voting machines.

I switched from macOS close to a year ago now, and it's been a challenge for sure. But compared to where it was six years ago it's gotten a lot better. It kind of feels like being a beta tester in some ways

I just shared an article about this on my timeline. This type of behavior is going to be one of the major focuses leading up to the 2026 midterms, and 2028 general election. It's time to start having a serious conversation in this country about election integrity, including all the way back to 2000.

The sooner we can get more people switching to Linux, the more in control of our lives we all will be
