anyway, just finished a module building an iOS application using Swift and Audiokit.

Main takeaway from me is that Audiokit is *fantastic*, it's so easy to make amazing stuff with! Incredible work!!

The other is that I don't think I enjoy Swift as a language nor Xcode very much 😬

Every time without fail in the past few months or so when researching audio stuff, I *somehow* stumble upon work done by Julius O. Smith III from CCRMA in that exact sub-field.

Absolutely insane how prolific his research has been. I also massively appreciate his style of academic writing _a lot_

Thinking a decently productive new years resolution is to get better at C++. That said I'm currently focused heavily on MATLAB, Swift + C# for uni work.

JUCE is a super good peice of kit I really wanna dive into. I know the theory but golly I wanna dedicate more time than I have to it currently.
