The kids across the street are wilding at 22h30, and will be carrying on until well after midnight. Meanwhile, the Old Man (me) is watching Stone Temple Pilots videos.
Happy place. There is no way I can leave here, or worse, move back to CO. #Paris is where I shall perish.

When life hands you lemons, make Caesar Salad dressing : egg yolk, EVOO, Worcestishire sauce, anchovy paste (I let @troisgalopins.bsky.social mash the filets with a fork if she is around), freshly-squeezed lemon juice, grated Parmesan. I prefer endive over romaine. Parfait !

Good fun on the métro : a young couple refuses to stand up in a very crowded car from the folding seats by the door, preferring to cling to each other and chat or look at videos. A woman in her seventies a seat away whacked the girl on the head and says “get up”.

The murmur of steady rain outside at 05h40 in the center of #Paris. Oddly comforting, given the absence of klaxons, shithead motorcycle rider, etc. in one of densely populated cities in the EU. Just raindrops and FIP Radio Zen. C'est magnifique.
Depending on WX, planning steak-frîtes for lunch.
