Yeah I realized it was probably a joke when I read over what I had typed in response to you. And I'm aware of and agree that the advertising ban is probably a good thing.

I understand that, but why does that prevent people from getting prescribed these cures that we, who get to watch tons of sometimes very ambiguous ads on TV that tell us to ask our doctor about, do get?

Are you saying that drug companies (a field I work in) aren't allowed to let prescribers know about their cures so they don't know to prescribe them to patients who need them?

Could this be because the handicapped person could be left handed or right handed, and be able to use either depending on their dominant hand?
