Just so fucking disappointed in our elected officials... nobody is willing to stand up and do something. Either performative statements or hoping for magical changes to occur.

I am not sure Congress have the ability to conduct criminal investigations. Thus my grave concern about any individual in the Trump administration ever being criminally indicted or even ICE agents.

Unfortunately I don't think that is what Governor JB Pritzker @govpritzker.illinois.gov is proposing or any other official in office. Thus why they need to be very clear what "accountable" means.

Is it beyond hope that such individuals like Noem will be held accountable beyond impeachment? Criminal or civil charges? I think being very clear with what accountable means is important. Just losing her current job to be hired by Fox News is NOT being held accountable.

Any chance of removing the statue of limitation of 5 years, that seems awfully tight. Also can the charges be state based to remove the ability to pardon by the President. A lot of time was put into prosecuting J6 participants just to be release with pardons (1600 pardons)
