Most casual gamers and honestly, many pro streamers too, have little clue how the corporate side works. Mark breaks it down well and is one of the most candid game developers I’ve ever encountered. Required viewing, imo.

As someone with a leadership in business background, I think @markdarrah.bsky.social YouTube videos should be required viewing by anyone in the gaming fandom space, but especially those who hurl hateful accusations at game devs without a single clue what the bigger picture is.

I’d really like to see new stories in Thedas- I want fanfic writers to do new things. Create new heroes and new lore and new adventures. DA is ours now and it doesn’t have to die and stories there don’t need to either. So many talented people in our fandom to create new, “unofficial” content.

I would be a beginner, but only to DnD, I have done char sheets and text roleplay but never in that world (except for playing Baldurs Gate). The group being super chill and also leaning past middle-age would be really awesome. I’m an old lady.
