Depending on what you want to do as well. You could also do like monster of the week. Powered by the apocalypse, similar to perfect draw, and it's just basically what if supernatural and buffy were a trpg i could have your extra people coming in. As villains either do the monster or guest character

So you can customize by going down into different trees by spending experience points or upgrading skills to better rolls or buying into other classes
Even if just going with like the star wars, variant would be very easy to reskin, but genesys itself is pretty setting agnostic

It started off as the fantasy flights, star wars system, and then they made their own based off that. Like, instead of numbered dice, it's storytelling dice, so it's like successes, failures, advantages and disadvantages.And there's a plot point system. Classes are a talent tree system

So I don't know about black seven.That's a new 1 for me. And i've only really ever looked at cyberpunk red
But one system, I know that I feel I could be good for 1on1 could be something like the genesys system since it's big on storytelling, dice system and even failures can be movement forward
