A message of solidarity to TASA and TASB: "We are moved to think about how the children of these workers will have brighter futures if their parents win their fight for better lives today. We are inspired by the courage and righteousness of the Hilton workers' stroke, and we adopt their picket line as our own. As such, we join them in their request that you cancel all business at the Hilton during the strike."

TONIGHT, the Texas House is voting on whether to concur with changes the Senate made to the STAAR Bill (HB 8). This bill is missing the necessary safeguards to actually be an improvement for students and schools. Make sure your representative knows that.
