Hello November…and especially hello to my birthday month!

3 days until my birthday! I’m looking forward to celebrating it on Tuesday!!!

This was a good week to get my immunizations done!
Influenza: done on Tuesday after I was done work
Pneumonia: got it done today! (Completely covered by my province thanks to my health condition)

#9-1-1onabc I wonder how many times I’m gonna be screaming at my Tv tonight… I know I was freaking out most of last week’s episode because of a few reasons.

As someone who went through the #albertateachersstrike in 2002 as a grade 6 student, and currently have friends and family who are teachers, I strongly stand behind the teachers who deserve smaller class sizes, support in the classrooms for the students who have complex needs, and better pay!

Had a scary moment as I was walking out of the hospital the other day after visiting mom: one of the long term care residents stopped me and asked if I had a knife!
Thankfully I didn’t and immediately walked away, otherwise things would’ve been much worse if I actually did have it on hand.

I can already tell that tomorrow is going to be a great day! Starting my day off of work getting things done in Innisfail, then later on hanging out with some friends and discussing a place that’s mentioned in Harry Potter… I’m excited!!!

Fun fact: one of my friends has a Filipino connection thanks to their last name!
Bonus: I work with three Filipinos at work!!!

A few days ago I went to my cardiologist appointment and here’s the recap:

doc seen something abnormal in the echo… CT scan booked for April 30 with follow up either in person or via phone call.

Am I nervous to find out what the results are: yes, but I’m taking things one day at a time.

Off to Calgary bright and early tomorrow morning as it’s time to go and see my cardiologist!
I’ve got my fingers crossed for a good day regardless!
