It annoys me how many people fail to see the protests were completely peaceful until the orange imbecile illegally sent in the national guard, that's what instigated things, his illegal use of the national guard

Witch from Mercury was a good show, not the best Gundam series but it's up there in my opinion. Top Gundam series in my opinion is iron blooded orphans and Gundam unicorn, the latter is because it's what got me into Gundam in the first place, IBO was just super good

Part of the reason I love Gundam (besides the giant robots) is that I can identify with a lot of main characters, they're almost always socially awkward but willing to do whatever it takes to protect the people they care about

Yup, the X-Men comics were comparable to the civil rights movement when they first started and their story has since been used as a type of rallying cry for marginalized groups who are being mistreated or face the threat of mistreatment from the government
