I got the feeling no one is seeing my posts here, so I'm headed back to F'book for most of 'em. I'm still following folks here, though.

I'm going to borrow a podcast title: Well There's Your Problem. Part of the presidential oath of office is, "I do solemnly swear/affirm I...will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States." Some chose to vote for one who has zero ability to do that.

Is Harvard's resistance the equivalent of the Boston Tea Party? This could be considered as a mixing of issues: academic freedom and tariffs, but I liked it. 🙂

It just crossed my mind that Trump would have deported students who protested apartheid in South Africa.

Shouldn't the private prison industry be lobbying the administration to house here the folks they're sending to El Salvador? He's exporting business that should go to American businesses. P.S., I am against private prisons, but I was trying to think like one of them.

It will be interesting to see who took advantage of the economic mayhem over the past week to "buy low and sell high."
