Since this post I have played another 25 hours. There is no time or money that could make this game anything more than a way to pass time. It is atrociously mediocre. It is truly one of the games of all time and surely is set in the time it is. I really want to finish it, just so it's not another-

-the franchise of Harry Potter and the greater Wizarding World (how creative and not at all centered on a very small part of the greater established universe) wouldn't be too bad.

-setting (*cough cough* centaurs *cough cough*); and, when they actually put the slightest amount of it, minority representation wasn't based almost, if not, entirely based on stereotypes and surface-level understanding of those groups. But yeah, aside from those aspects, among a few other things,-

-greedy, very powerful, and yet simultaneously inferior goblins that suspiciously fit many stereotypes placed upon Jewish people and self-enslaving house-elves, and generic fantasy species that are somehow "savages" despite being nothing but physically altered humans which have no place in such a-
