Ok but really, I’m close to finishing my current sketchbook, figuring out what to do w/ the rest of the pg’s is hard. I’m to the point where i could literally just post the unfinished stuff, and move on from there.

I’m very happy with how it’s going so far, but gonna have to stop for now. I’m going to have to pick up a kneaded eraser tomorrow to see how well the “roll erase” method @jelarts.bsky.social uses works on pieces like this before coloring.

One thing that I will do today — that’s needed to be done a long while back actually — is delete Instagram. It’s so distracting compared to any other app I’ve used, including YouTube, and it’s waaaaay too easy to find yourself doom scrolling on it when you’re flipping through posts and reels.

I know I should post more of my art to boost my confidence, but I keep delaying myself from doing so from excuses after excuses. I’m also trying to sell off some stuff that I don’t want or need anymore, and it all takes up so much energy for me to just take pics and list it just like any other chore

I don’t usually like to blab out my personal life issues on social media, but I’ve slowly been reminding myself that I have a lot of confidence issues than I used to. Maybe bc I don’t know how to make time for myself or hanging out with my friends now since I started working again a few months ago

I’ve been a fan of 3 Doors Down since junior high when I first heard one of their songs on the radio from my iPod nano. I’ve collected their albums for years from then on (I don’t have them anymore sadly), and I still like their music now even if I haven’t heard many of their songs for years now.

I just woke up to the news that 3 Doors Down was cancelling their tour w/ Creed bc the singer is diagnosed with stage 4 cancer.

I’m bringing this up bc me, my bf and his fam are going to see this very tour this summer (it was one of our surprise presents for Christmas).
