This very pretty, very young, very pregnant cat was living on the backstretch. She is very well taken care of by the trainer who owns her, and the barn adores her, but we decided it would be best if she had a safe, indoor place to have her babies.

This was a portion of the line of people waiting to try to get in as I was leaving yesterday afternoon. All of them would walk away, like me, disappointed and frustrated.

@brooklynspoke.bsky.social one of my local Facebook groups had a post in which people were bemoaning a new Citibike dock in our neighborhood, quite close to an existing dock, and the increasing number of street parking spaces reserved for rideshare vehicles like Zipcar
