A combo of vetting adopter, first come first served and mutual acceptance between the two. There are way more animals that need furever homes than people willing to adopt. If they all are interested in the same dog, what happens after the dog choses? Do the humans pick another dog or just leave?

This was posted a while back and I thought it was revealed to be fake. Whatever the case may be, I'm opposed to doing this. Why? Because there are people in the room who don't get "chosen." It can be soul crushing to feel rejected. There are better ways to pair dogs/cats with their people. IMHO.

trump's plan: doesn't want insurance companies getting all that gov money so he will end ACA subsidies and give that money to people to buy their own insurance from insurance companies. It's way cheaper. 🙄

I saw that and felt really bad for the people the dogs didn't chose. Dogs do chose their person in many ways but that video isn't the type of setting I would want to encourage.
