We live in NJ about 15 miles from NYC. My in-laws live in Western NC. Even before inflation, going to WNC's supermarkets caused us sticker shock. Their store brand prices are mostly higher than many of the name brands in NJ. They don't believe me when I tell them how badly they're getting hosed.

My reliably R legislative district (NJ21) just went D for the 1st time in over 40 years. Longtime R strongholds in that district now have D representation on town councils, if not entire D gov'ts. R candidates need to lash themselves to Trump to get thru a primary then pay the price in the general.
