An analogy of when @jeffjarvis.bsky.social says: "AI is really not intelligent and it isn't AGI - bah, etc". Its like seeing the Wright brothers fly and saying: "It isn't really flight because they don't fly like birds - bah, this is a machine which will never swoop down on prey like an eagle".

Let me see if I understand this. Australia wants to link tax platforms that carry links to news sites. If the platforms says that's OK - we don't want to link to news anyway, then Australia says that they will fine platforms that won't carry news. Forced speech with a tax on that forced speech!
