I keep phones because 1) my phone works fine, and there are no compelling new features on phones these days 2) moving phones is a hassle 3) my phone still gets security updates (and even major OS updates). I'll update when any of those change.
The environmental/cost benefits are an added plus.

Also language is not behavior. It's one thing to say "oh it's interesting to see what happens when we have LLMs talking to one another" but it's entirely different to say "oh this must be a good model of human behavior". The former makes me go "sure I guess", the latter makes me go "WAT".

you should definitely spend some time with DF, but when you get frustrated you may also enjoy Rimworld. Where you will also get frustrated.

I would put forth the possibility that there's not actually a significant difference between street preacher and mental health crisis except for how socially acceptable it is.
