Agreed, and I would add major dosing of environmental neurotoxins (lead and PCBs along with fine particulate in air) that primarily affected baby boomers, but also a bit of the millennial generation. As a nation we literally got stupider for the first time in history. The Flynn Effect.

It is market manipulation. Trump lets a few choice buddies know when to place bets on the market. The next morning he gooses it or tanks it right on schedule and they make hundreds of millions in a day. Remember, with short options you make money when the market tanks.
