Kash Patel being sworn in at a Senate Committee meeting looks like he's praying that he doesn't burst into flames.

I suspect that with the skyrocketing cost of meat at the supermarket that we are no longer getting the choicest parts of the animal, but come on.

They're good! I keep meaning to buy them. I'm always reminded when I'm on an Air Canada flight and get them. :)

Fuck yeah, seats by Recaro. Perfect for when the pilot drifts this bitch and performs high-G maneuvers.

Went for "old farts" breakfast this morning with some friends. Decided a couple months ago to make this a regular biweekly thing, to try to reconnect with friends and just have a chill Sunday morning while enjoying nice, simple food. Don't mind my side of Hollandaise sauce. This is why I'm fat.

Corn is a strong vegetable. You can tell because it's so husky.

The font and the cumbubble wearing it make this hat look more like "Make America Queef Again."

I forgot that I bought the Bambu Lab AMS, which allows you to print in multiple colours. Though for me, the biggest advantage is being able to use a dedicated support filament (far right) that detaches more easily. I just received a water-soluble support filament I need to try.

I had someone request I make some tiny multicolour ducks, using the rainbow filament I bought the other day. This gives you a good idea of what that will look like. I just need to find some time that I won't need to use the printer for a few hours. :)

More recently, I printed this cute articulating tiger using purple sparkle filament! He wiggles and flails! So cute! I then made a fridge magnet using the head, and a tiger tail keychain. :) I want to see if I can find a sparkle orange to do the magnet and keychain with.

I bought this awesome rainbow filament. After printing a Benchy to make sure I had its settings more or less honed in, I decided to make this derpy flexi-shark. It's so cute!

My webcam has an annoying lip that hangs over the top of my monitor screen, because it has such a tiny bezel. I decided to design a brand-new webcam mount from scratch. I've gone through so many revisions of this that it's not funny. I think I'm up to 8 or 9 now. So close now...

I'm in the middle of designing this box to store 3.5" hard drives. The hollowed-out part is an insert that will rest on the first two drives, so you can stack two more on top. I haven't decided the hinged cover yet, but that'll be the next step. I like it!

I am likely overthinking this, but this is a project I'm working on that affixes itself to the doorframe and a hinged lever will rotate to keep the door open a set distance, so cats and come and go at night and not accidentally close the door, but make it easy to open still.

The problem with my recreation is the pins and clips on the back are far too brittle. I could experiment with different filaments, but decided instead of pins, to create holes. I ordered some tiny screws and made a few different prototypes before the end result, seen here in use.

I decided to put my AutoCAD certificate to use after ~25 years and started designing some objects to print. This is a copy of the ISA expansion card retention bracket from my Compaq Portable. The originals are brittle given their age. This is my first prototype and was garbage.

I was strongly suspecting that another thing causing some problems with my 3D printing was that because some of my filament is hygroscopic, it was absorbing moisture from the air. So I nabbed a Sunlu S4 Filadryer to tackle that issue. It's pretty swank. No complaints!

While on the topic of bacon, my arteries hadn't even recovered from the bucket of bacon when I went for McBreakfast and received a box of mystery bacon in the bag. I certainly didn't complain about this fortunate event!
