it's so funny bc every single backstory boils down to "rook will do anything and everything to help people even if they have to be reckless about it and forget about consequences" and you will still see people asking why you can't do blood magic or be a outright asshole like bro... it's ok to read

not just that but they forget that you aren't LITERALLY Rook, they're your Rook but that's the extent of it. like, there is a reason that you can't support solas or be evil that isn't just "lack of choice", if veilguard didn't want to force you to do some stuff then Rook simply wouldn't exist

like every game he makes is better than the last and i can't wait for him to make another non-medieval fantasy game

also, never been so surprised by a character as ive been by taash and i wish the discourse around them was how fucking real they are instead of that scene with their mom every single time (which is a incredible scene btw)

i reloaded after the end to see how the romance would react out of curiosity and im so glad i did, hearing this was so cute, it puts a lots of things into perspective

btw, you said that your rook feels like nothing when neve flirts with lucanis, but have you ever seen what bellara says to a rook romancing neve if you picked neve to disable the door in act 3? if not i will search for a clip, its extremely beautiful

i was romancing her in my first playthrough and when i heard the line "well at least the demon had good taste" in lucanis recruitment quest I KNEW i had to sabotage them immediately ☠️ her ass never saw him again
